MathPad 2.6.5 = Excellent computational tool.
MathPad 2.65. is an excellent tool. Although somewhat limited in performance compared to the expensive commercial programs, it does a huge fraction of the common computational and graphing functions needed by a technical person quickly, efficiently, and very intuitively. Execution is very fast, embedded comments are easily added, and others can easily follow and understand the code.
However, it runs (on 12/30/11) only on PPC enabled Macs, meaning it will not run on Mac OS X Lion....yet.
The developer, Mark Widholm, has promised to make the conversion as his time permits.Bottom line: an excellent tool for your daily computations.

Not yet operational on Lion.
Not as powerful as some commercial tools. More
